About Hilltop Beginnings Preschool
Hilltop Beginnings Preschool, LLC is a preschool-only family childcare provider licensed by the State of Minnesota through Olmsted County Community Services. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for your child. We will work with you to ensure that your child's individual needs are met while encouraging their natural curiosity and love of learning. We believe in creating a partnership with families to provide the best possible care and education for your child. We love parent involvement our program in our special events, guest reader sign-ups, parent/teacher conferences, and Scholastic Book Club orders. Our program focuses on the whole child, including their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. We offer a play-based STEM curriculum that is designed to foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
As a Parent Aware 4-Star rated provider, we support each child at his/her own pace to be ready for kindergarten and beyond. Through coaching, extensive classes, and grants, we are committed to keeping up with research-based practices to ensure your child is engaged in developmentally appropriate activities. We are dedicated to making health and safely requirements a priority. As a Parent Aware provider, we are skilled in assessing your child for kindergarten readiness and are enthusiastic about involving parents to work as a team in helping each child reach their goals. We will assess students and have parent/teacher conferences twice a year.
We also offer delicious and nutritious meals by partnering with the Provider's Choice Food Program. We offer breakfast, Am snack, lunch, and a PM snack.

SCHEDULE
At Hilltop Beginnings, LLC., your child will follow a daily schedule. It consists of arrival curriculum table activities, breakfast, free choice playtime, circle time, art, bathroom breaks, snack, math/reading activities, outdoor playtime, S.T.E.M. activities, lunch, nap/quiet time, snack, and more outdoor playtime. AGES AND NUMBERS OF CHILDREN IN CARE
We are licensed to provide care for a total of fourteen children, with ten under school age. We will care for children ages 3 -5. All children need to be completely potty-trained. Pull-ups are welcome for naptime.
HOURS AND DAYS OF OPERATION
We mostly follow the Rochester Public School District Calendar and are open at the beginning of September and go through the first week of June. There are no summer hours. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:45am to 4:45pm during the school year only. Full time and part time care is available.
COST
Our cost is $225.00 per week for full time care and or cost is $45.00 per day for part time care. (You may even choose to attend half days but the cost is still the same for the full day.) We do not offer less than 3 days a week for part time. There is a fee of $15.00 per day for early drop off at 7:15 A.M. Payments are due every 2 weeks prior to care.
COMMUNICATION
We communicate with you through a monthly newsletter, menu, calendar of events, emails, texts, and chatting with you at drop off and at pick up times. We also hold parent/teacher conferences twice a year to work together to set goals for your child's educational growth. We like to offer ways to get parents involved in our program through special events and asking parents to sign up to be guest surprise readers.
PETS
We do have two dogs in the home. All children will NOT be in contact with the dogs during preschool hours. Both dogs are up to date on their vaccines.
NO SMOKING POLICY
We are non-smokers. Licensing regulations prohibit smoking in the preschool home during preschool hours.
